Funding Flood Resilience
Through our membership in the A2 Coalition, VOTE SoAR was connected to the Mobilizing Action for Resilient Communities (MACP) grant, funding that has directly supported our flood resilience work in Fulton and McNab.
02 · AGU THRIVING EARTH EXCHANGE (TEX) PROJECT
Science in Service of Community
A2 facilitated VOTE SoAR's connection to the American Geophysical Union's Thriving Earth Exchange, a program that pairs volunteer scientists and engineers with community-led projects. That connection brought Thomas Poulose to South Arkansas, where he built flood models that validated what our neighbors already knew.
